Our holiday home is conveniently located in Goldenstedt (49424), a charming town in the Oldenburg region of Lower Saxony.

Situated approximately 20 minutes east of the A1 motorway, the area offers an ideal combination of peaceful surroundings and convenient transport connections. Nature lovers can explore nearby moorlands, forests and lakes, while shops, restaurants and cafés are within easy reach.

The property is situated on the outskirts of Goldenstedt, just 5 minutes from the town centre. Vechta is approximately 12 minutes away and Wildeshausen around 20 minutes away. Larger cities such as Bremen and Oldenburg can be reached in approximately 50–55 minutes.

Located on a quiet side street, the house is also easy to access by car.

The surrounding countryside provides plenty of opportunities for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Discover the Goldenstedter Moor nature reserve, visit Hartenbergsee lake with its beach club or explore the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park – perfect for hiking, cycling or simply relaxing in beautiful natural surroundings.

Families will also find a variety of interesting places to visit, including Haus im Moor, the Dümmer Nature Park, Arkeburg – an ancient Saxon refuge dating back to the time of Charlemagne – and the treetop adventure trail.
If you're interested in culture and history, the nearby towns and cities of Vechta, Wildeshausen and Bremen offer plenty of attractions and historic sights to discover.

We particularly recommend a visit to Lake Dümmer, approximately 20 km south-west of Goldenstedt. Covering 13.5 km², it is Lower Saxony's second-largest lake.
Here you can relax by the water, go swimming, enjoy a variety of water sports or explore the approximately 27 km of cycling and walking trails around the lake. Various cultural events also take place throughout the year.

• 2 individual hotel-quality single beds with hotel bed linen and 2 pillows per bed (the single beds can be pushed together to form a double bed upon request)
